Health and Fitness with Robin

May 10, 2018

We all struggle to balance work, home and health in a world that everything was to be done yesterday.

The goal of this article is to share ideas that can be incorporated in all aspects of your life.  We will provide information related to time management, health and/or fitness, so each month I will try to give ideas on how to:

  1. Life: Commit to a process, not a goal.
  2. Health: Balance and Moderation.
  3. Fitness: Fun and accessible.

One of the best and inexpensive exercises to start is walking.  For the past three years I have walked regularly with a friend of mine on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.  She reminded me last night on our walk/run that we have been doing this for the past two years.  We met in a Couch to 5K more than 4 years ago.  My goal is to do the Charles Street 12-miler on September 1st.

Your health and fitness is a lifelong commitment that requires a plan and friends to help you along.  MyFitnessPal by Under Armour, one of many walking, running and exercise apps, is a great place to start to help you plan.

And remember “Just keep going.  Everybody gets better if they keep at it.”  Ted Williams.
