
Habitat America Announces Promotions for Top-Leading Roles

ANNAPOLIS, MD – February 6, 2018 – Habitat America, LLC, a woman-owned, third party property management company based out of Annapolis, MD, recently announced three internal, executive level promotions for the following executives: Jennifer O’Dell, Ninette Patrick and Maryellen DeLuca. Due to the continuous, rapid expansion of the company’s management portfolio, these promotions are vital to keep operations flowing smoothly and soundlessly.
The promotions include the following titles and duties:
Jennifer O’Dell, vice president of best practices. O’Dell joined Habitat America in November 2000, as a leasing consultant. In August 2013, O’Dell advanced from a senior regional property manager to assistant vice president of best practices. In December 2017, she was promoted to her current position, serving dual duties as the vice president of best practices and a senior regional property manager. She has worked diligently to cultivate the company’s policies and procedures and created a committee comprised of various key department heads to review and create best practices, maintain industry awareness, and strategic work flow. O’Dell has been a valued long-term employee, committed to the growth and development of Habitat America. She is best known for her willingness to provide guidance and resources at every level of the property management operation. O’Dell has gained a great deal of experience while working for the company and equally contributed to the growth and development of employees.
Ninette Patrick, vice president of learning and development. Patrick joined Habitat America in August 2013, as a regional property manager. She advanced to become a senior regional property manager, and was then promoted to serving dual duties as an assistant vice president of learning and development. Under this dual-title, she worked diligently to cultivate the company’s learning and development platform and co-created the Habitat America University, learning management program. In December of 2017, Patrick was again promoted to her current position of vice president of learning and development, and will continue dual duties as a senior regional property manager. She will be tasked with expanding the platform in the form of in-person training programs and classes that we will be offered to employees. Patrick has brought years of property management experience to Habitat America, from her work with Southern Management, Bozzuto Management and the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County, Maryland.
Maryellen DeLuca, vice president of corporate marketing. DeLuca joined Habitat America in January 2005. At that time DeLuca was both director of marketing and training and a regional property manager. She has worked diligently to cultivate the company’s marketing department into a true marketing force in the property management industry. Due to the company’s rapid expansion, DeLuca’s new corporate marketing role will be to provide strategic marketing for Habitat America as a company, and the entire property portfolio. DeLuca will lead the effort to secure new business for Habitat America, therefore create a larger company brand footprint in the industry. DeLuca has brought 26 years of property management experience to Habitat America, and she has gained even greater experience while working for the company.
