Community Manager (St. Michaels, Maryland):

Compliance Manager Needed (Annapolis, Maryland):

Habitat America has a full-time position for a Compliance Manager.  This position will be based out of the Corporate Headquarters in Annapolis, Maryland.  The individual in this position will be responsible for approving Move-In files for all programs in communities throughout the Company’s portfolio.  The Compliance Manager is responsible for travelling to community sites to perform file audits and onsite training for site staffs.  Not only will this position provide training, but will also be a compliance mentor to the site staffs.  The Compliance Manager will also be responsible for working on special projects that arise within the Compliance Department.  

Experience Requirements:   Qualified applicants for the position of Compliance Manager must have a strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Tax Credit, HUD programs and HOME programs.  Applicants must be able to read, understand and accurately interpret regulatory requirements.  Experience with YARDI is strongly desired. 

Additional Required Skills:      It is imperative that the Compliance Manager excel in customer service skills and have excellent communications skills, both oral and written.  Qualified candidates must be able to write proper business emails.  The Compliance Manager must be able to work independently and have good time management and organizational skills.  The Compliance Manager must also be able to work within the Compliance Team.
